Salvation
Salvation, forgiveness, redemption, conversion, born again! This religion, that tradition, baby baptism, christening, pilgrimages, prayers, church services, lighting candles, giving money! Surely, surely, God did not intend for it to be so hard for you to know Him and to have a meaningful relationship with Him.
As a simple thought, consider this Bible verse ...
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. (John 6:29).
A group of people were following and expecting Jesus Christ to produce another miracle and provide a meal for all of them. When He told the crowd that they needed spiritual food (salvation) more so then physical food, the group of people asked what they needed to do - what was the work that God wanted them to do.
And here Jesus said: believe on him whom he hath sent. Right here Jesus Christ was telling these people that God had sent Him from Heaven, and that the duty of all mankind was to believe on Who Jesus was, trusting Him, letting Him save them from their sins and the punishment thereof.
Do you believe in Jesus Christ? Have you believed on Jesus? There is a difference.

Correspondence Course
- The command in Scripture to the churches of Jesus Christ, is to go to into all the world with the gospel. But, not all people will come along to a church service. Indeed, the Bible does not command a lost person to attend church, but rather to repent of their sins and believe on Jesus Christ:
- And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30).
- In light of this, Calvary Baptist has a Correspondence Bible Course that can be completed in the privacy of your own home.
